WPC is made up of polyethylene, polypropylene and polyvinyl chloride instead of commonly used resins to blend with more than 50% waste plant fibres such as wood powder, rice husks and straw to form new wood-based materials.
Boards or profiles are then produced using plastic technological processes such as extrusion moulding and injection moulding.
